Apu lvn-bsn fall 2017

Hello, I submitted my application for Fall cohort this year. My APU representative told me that Nursing Department will not start the review process of the applicants until May cohort starts. It's already the middle of May and still hasn't heard anything from them. I'm just wondering if any of you are in the situation as I am?

I am almost done with second semester. Schedule on the first semester depends on how many classes you are taking. I never took nutrition and pharmacology test so I took four classes, which was a good review and I actually learned new things. So here is my schedule so far.

First Semester:

Tuesdays (Nutrition from 9-11 am & Pharmacology from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm)

Thursdays (Professional Concepts of Nursing 8am - 11 pm and Health Assessment from 12am-6 pm)

Second Semester:

Clinicals - Group A Mondays 6:30 am -6:30 am & Group B Fridays 6:30 am -6:30 am) this might change.

Wednesdays (Pathophysiology 9am-12pm and Med-Surg 1pm-6pm)

So, do you know what your summer schedule looks like yet?

How was your first semester as far as the work load? I have orientation this coming Thursday and I am so excited (and scared lol)

For my summer schedule I will have class on Tuesdays from 10AM -2:45, BUT since I already took nutrition I will only have one class on Tuesday from 10-12:15, and Wednesday from 9-6pm

For the third semester, we have clinicals on Mondays and full day lecture on Tuesdays.

Hi guys!

I applied for Fall 2018 IE Campus. Totally anxious. Do you guys know when they usually start calling for interviews? I received an email a week ago stating applications have been submitted to school of nursing. Is it like a long wait a few months? I'm checking my email daily. And how is the work load? Is it really hard or kind of not too much because the program is now 24 months. Any advice helps to relieve some of this anxiety!

I have submitted my application for review. Ethan told me in an email that my application will be submitted for the Monrovia campus for Fall 2018. Anybody on here currently at this campus? How's the program going? Anyone working while in the program?

Hi. For anyone who is already in the program, can you give me an idea of your GPA when you applied? I am hoping to apply for Spring 2019 and I want to know if I am competitive. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA with a few more prereqs to complete before then. Thanks!
