Applying for licensure in another state

In my opinion, no. The information required must still originate from you. I don't see how a third party could possibly speed things up as that's just adding an additional step ...and a third party would certainly have no control over how quickly the board of nursing in any particular state takes for processing.

IMO, applying to another state is a pretty straightforward process, so why pay someone else to do it for you? And to be honest, YOU are going to have to do most of the legwork anyway: getting fingerprinted, applications, writing requests to school for transcripts, etc. Just go to your desired BON's website and follow the instructions.

I've applied for licensure in several different states over my career, and never found it to be enough of a burden that I would consider paying anyone to help (to whatever degree an agency would be able to; as already noted, transcripts require authorization directly from you, an agency can't get your fingerprints for you, etc., etc.). And I'm curious about (and suspicious of :)) an agency that would advertise that it can "guarantee the license in less than a month" -- an outside agency has no control over how long an individual BON will take to process a request, or how busy a particular BON is at the time an application is submitted (unless they, like, bribe the BON to fast-track an application, which I would hope is illegal).

I agree. They claim less than a month but honestly now that I am done with submitting everything the BON sails everything should be processed within 30 days.
