    Hi Tzu, LPN most nearly equates with the now abandoned SEN... State Enrolled Nurse. That was a 2 year course, as against the 3 year RN . existing SEN's are encouraged to convertbut are few and far between now. I think National Vocational Qualification level 3 is about the same educational level but I'm sure someone will correct me. Minimum RN now is Diploma.

    Hey British nurses, while you're here... Can anyone tell me what the weather is like there in Oct-Nov? I know it won't be warm, but is it really bad? I am thinking of vacationing in Scotland or Ireland or England at that time....

    I've only been here for 14 months, so not too clued up. I found last July to be the hottest month where I am. I'm about one hour north of London. Aug, Sept, Oct were still lovely. December 20th my mom had arrived and the cold seemed to have set in. The weather must vary quite a bit from one part to another.

    Dec Jan Feb = winter, Mar Apr May = spring, June July Aug = summer, Sept Oct Nov= autum. I think!
