I am about to take an ACLS course, of course for CEU but also to advance my career.

I am shopping online for a book and there is so much to choose from. I have taken a basic arrythmia class which included meds that will be on the test, as well as, VT, VF, AF, AT, ASYS, and blocks. If anyone has any pneumonics or success stories, hints, tips...please post for me and the "CAN DO" crew!!!! THANKS:monkeydance:

http://www.acls.net/ this site is still being updated to new formate that reflects the new teaching but has many fun,easy ways to remember things. The ACLS book is ur best bet.

Go with the book that the class recommends. Also, get the most recent edition. The protocols have changed recently.

And when you are there, relax, pay attention and don't worry about doing everything perfectly right away in the mega-code. Just slow down enough to think your way through it. With the new algorhythms, the team leader has two minutes of people doing compressions to reason their way through a problem and come up with possibilities.
