I feel so nervous, anxious, and excited that next week will be able to start turning in our applications. Who else is with me? 6-8 weeks will seem like a lifetime! Good luck to everyone who is applying and I hope to see you all this spring :up:

Hi guys! My name is Brittany. I also applied for Spring 2015; however, I applied to the generic program. I didn't realize SSC was possibly giving out acceptances and rejections on Friday the 31st!!! Wow, that is early! I'm not expecting to get in this round, but the advisor told me it was worth applying even though I am still enrolled in Microbiology. My GPA is a 3.2 (kinda low :/) and my overall TEAS score was a 93%, with a 98% on the science portion. I am hopeful; but, I know that being enrolled in a pre-req significantly lowers my chances. I don't want to be out of school for 8 months!:unsure: Good luck to everyone!!! Hopefully we will find out tomorrow!!!

Hey Brittany! Don't stress about it! I applied before (to the generic portion) and got rejected. I didn't care to reapply till this semester because I couldn't get my TEAS score above an 78%. I decided to take classes such as organic chemistry, take time to learn a language, and work my butt off to save money. I ended up going to Africa and teaching to street children, orphans, & families that couldn't afford an education for their kids. I believe the rejection email was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I'm not saying you will get rejected, but there are sooooo many things this world has to offer!
