Seminole State - UCF Concurrent Program Fall 2012

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi everyone, thought I would start a support group for the SSC/UCF Concurrent Program starting Fall 2012 hopefuls :) Is everyone getting their applications ready for submission... the deadline is approaching quickly!

was I the only one that got a response?

I have been checking my knights mail and haven't received a reply one way or the other.

I was told by UCF the letter probably wouldn't be going out till the 3rd week in April even though it is past 6 weeks on their timeline... that's what I was told so maybe next week the acceptances will be sent out.

I'm just depressed, I have no idea what is missing and what to do about this, i've spent the past 2 years doing these prereqs working, and raising two kids and still get nearly a 4.0 (Microbiology messed me up!) and i feel like it was all for nothing :(

I started to study back in '09 and I finished my generic track prerequisites by Fall 2010... I've been waiting for two years to get accepted. This whole process is depressing and it makes any student feel like nothing. Then again, we're just a number to them....

your chances should be really good time, last time they took anyone spring 10 and earlier so you're at the begining of the list!

I've already been rejected once... I dunno if I can take it again! I really I get in! I also hope they just had a misunderstanding with your application!

This is my second time applying too. turns out the ucf thing was my fault, AND the schools...I just applied to the college of nursing and never applied to UCF in general, They said it should have kicked back an email to me telling me of the error but it never did...chances are I can still get into the AS at SSC but you wont hear about that until the 30th of this month :(

And so we shall get into the waiting game once again... ugh...

I think this Friday will be the day!

According to the SSC Prenursing Facebook page, all SSC applicants will know by 4/28. I wish it was sooner than that!

I talked to someone in the AS nursing office yesterday and she said they haven't met with UCF yet and everyone will know a week after that...so next week looks good.
