Seminole State - UCF Concurrent Program Fall 2012

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi everyone, thought I would start a support group for the SSC/UCF Concurrent Program starting Fall 2012 hopefuls :) Is everyone getting their applications ready for submission... the deadline is approaching quickly!

I did not get in to UCF BSN track, now hoping to get in here. We should be hearing back soon!

anyone hear any news yet? I can't sleep at night freaking out and checking my email every 5 seconds!

I've been accepted into the UCF basic BSN and am waiting to hear from the cuncurrent! Does anyone know if the basic BSN is two or four days a week of classes?

Emails from UCF said to be sent out between the 4th and 6th weeks from the application deadline. If everything is on time, we will be hearing from UCF no later than this Friday. I am not sure how Seminole State will be contacting us... or when... I can't wait to hear from them, now that I am not going to UCF basic program. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for acceptance. Hopefully we only have to wait till the end of this week. Good luck!

six weeks...ugh

still nothing. they're killing me

I juSt got an email from UCF stating hat I didn't meet the minimum eligibility... I have no Idea what I'm missing, this is super discouraging considering this is the second time I applied and I graduate this semester with a 3.85 gpa I don't get it, I sent an email asking why...

was it from UCF basic or concurrent? that's weird that they've waited this long to get back to you with that. I got that same e-mail from the basic program but it was like a week or 2 before anyone got their acceptance e-mails. I wasn't sure why I didn't meet the minimum requirements either I was positive I was right on track

This was from the concurrent, I didn't apply for the basic program.

you had to apply to the basic program to be considered for the concurrent. You had to send 3 applications- UCF Basic program, UCF/SSC conccurent program, and SSC generic RN program

You did NOT have to apply to three different programs if you were just applying to the concurrent program. If applying to the concurrent you had to apply to Seminole and to the UCF/Seminole concurrent ONLY. If you received an email saying you did not meet the minimum requirements, call the school. I received this email and it was because they did not have my TEAS scores, so I resent the prior email with the date I received confirmation that they received the scores and my application was reinstated. Also I have seen that sometimes they get names confused, especially if you have a very common name.
