RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

How was the test? compared to the TEAS?

I never took the TEAS test. The new test was very hard. I purchased the review book and completed the entire thing. I did much better than I thought I was going to. Hoping my score is good enough to get in.

Hey.I'm going to be applying for the RN Transitional program this fall. I'm finishing up my pre reqs this semester. I just orderd the NLN pre entrance exam book from Amazon. I went out to the medical campus and spoke to an advisor. I have to get a passing score the first time to get into the fall2014 class. If not I must wait 6mths before retaking it again for a better score. I'm so anxious. I find myself thinking and biting my nails all day. I'm so nervous. So my cumulative gpa is 2.7. But my science gpa is 3.65. Will the cumulative gpa affect my chances of being accepted. She kept repeating to me that its very competitive. Ive decided to take the entrance exam around march or april......what is the test composed of? What should i focus on?

Hi, I'll be applying for MDC Generic Full time Fall 2014. I'm planning to take the NLN PAX in a few months. I have the review book and I'm studying every day, but I'm nervous I need a good score to get in!!!!!

Can you provide some feedback on your experience with the exam? Did the book covered everything that appeared or you needed other sources to study? I will be taking the exam in March, going crazy already. Thanks!

My science gpa is 3.80. I'm also planning to take the exam in april.

I too will be applying for the fall 2014 semester! I'm taking micro now, and I plan on taking the nln-pax either in March or early April. Right now, my natural sciences gpa is a 3.8 and my overall is a 3.6, however according to MDC the cumulative gpa isnt taken to account (the website does state a 2.5 minimum gpa is required to apply though ). I am super excited! I know we can all do it!

@Shell83...My Science GPA is 3.2 and I got a 143 on the exam. I am applying also for the accelerated program, because I am nervous I wont get in to the Full time...I'm a ball of nerves :/
