Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

U.S.A. Florida

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

hi yeah i'm scared too, good luck just keep focusing on your positive energy and we'll both make it

thank you so much for the advise in the class and as far as how it's going on the application process for the program, it's been very helpful for me. You have really good chances on getting in, best of lucks. Keep us posted on how though it's the program lol

Guys I'm going to apply on January for MDC and Broward College. The South Campus is at Pembroke Pines, not far from where I live. I don't have any hopes for Nova. You have to have science Gpa of 3.00 and cumulative, and as you all know for my Science isn't great. 2.79.

Broward requires the Hesi entrance and they open the Program 3 times a Year January, May and August. Good luck to everyone. I'm praying hard that MDC accepts me, I never lose hope and faith.

Wow thats weird i have that same paper from when i applied in early june and it states that the part time wasnt offered in spring. So maybe due to the big amount of applications they probably made a change

I still wont applied to part time, it takes 2 years to be completed. If im not accepted to generic full time, I rather applied to barry and finish my Bsn

I agree two yrs is too long just for an ASN

Hello everyone!

Been following this thread since June and finally registered! lol quick question. Does anyone who applied for spring know for sure how cumulative GPA is calculated? I figured cumulative means every class we've taken, but I read in earlier posts that it's just the general education requirements. Anyone know for sure? I will be applying this week. Thanks![TABLE=class: curriculum, width: 590]

Yes, it is for every class we have taken , even remedial classes. Go to your degree audit and select the program you r interested, full or part time and you will see the list of classes needed and your cumulative and science gpa at the bottom
