IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

I am not sure but I think there was an option to install without the class code.

I was wondering if alternates are required to go to the convocation on Friday and wear uniforms. Also, I thought I heard Monday was the last day to hear about acceptance so do alternates also go to the first day of class in uniform? Any insight would be much appreciated! :)

I would call the nursing dept about that joyfulheart. Anyone going to the online seminar thing today ?

No I decided not to also lol I called and they said it wasn't mandatory. There's supposed to be a training thing for it online anyways

So I'm freaking out thinking they might've given me the wrong ebook package because I can't find anything to download just a bunch of access codes that lead me to docucare, V-slim for nursing & I'm afraid to open the third one in case it's wrong. They all say I need a class code from an instructor. Help !

I asked about that. Alternates do not go anywhere unless they hear from the nursing dept.

Yeah, I just called the school and they said only accepted students are supposed to come tomorrow.

I just signed up for all my business classes. I was tired of waiting around to hear from nursing department. I emailed them this morning and they said the class is full. Why couldn't they tell me that earlier I will never know. So today was a rush trying to get back into business classes before deadline. Don't they realize people have to know so they can follow through with their back up plan. Such a waste of time waiting to hear. Good luck everyone!!

Is there anything that we need to do with the Professor Nightengale website before class on Monday? I can't seem to get the website to load. Just wanted to be sure I don't forget anything!
