FSCJ Fall 2012

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to start a new topic since it doesn't seem there are any discussions yet about anyone who is applying to the Nursing program for Fall 2012. I'm a little nervous right now b/c I will still be enrolled in Micro when I apply. Without Micro I will have a 189. I'm still going to apply (with my fingers crosse) in hoped I get in or even get a call from someone denying. If I end up with at least a B I'll have 201 total points. From what I've read a 201 should be guaranteed but then I'd have to wait until Spring. Fingers crossed a 189 w/o Micro will be enough for Fall! I'm so ready to start this program. Nervous & excited. Any tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated =)

I got my package today I am in 3 time was a charm :yeah:

My says that too and from what I understand it says that because we have to pass the background and drug testing! I could be wrong though!

I am lost as to what cpr class we need! is it the BLS one?

Hey guys. Will you check and see if you got the school code for certifiedbackground. I don't see page 2 or the code anywhere. I tried to register and couldn't go any further. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. St Lukes/St Vincent has two cpr classes coming up. Adult basic for healthcare professionals. $25 for Fscj students.

does it include kids as well?? it says we have to have adult and kids..also it cant be a basic level one...

I can't see the package code >.

Checked my mailbox, and I'm in!

What was everyone's points?

I called the one on the list. He left me a message with the St Lukes information. I will recheck on Thursday. I also called Liberty Ambulence and they have the class the second Saturday of each month. I'll confirm. How exciting is this. I had 204 points!

Does anyone know the cutoff or how many applied. Just curious.

By points, do you take into account all of the scores of the NAT or only the Academic Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, and Natural Sciences ?
