Hey!

I was wondering if any of you are looking to apply in May for the DSC Nursing in Fall 2015. I'm looking at going there since theres no wait list, Im currently doing prereqs at Valencia College in Orlando but they have a wait list to get into their nursing, Im going to apply to both but if I get into Daytona Im thinking I'm gonna go there.

First if theres anyone thats a nursing student at VCC or DSC now can you tell me if you like it!?

Anyone over there know good apartment complexes that have student living? Over here in Orlando theres places where you tell the apartment complexes that you want a roommate and they match you with other students. Anyone know of one near DSC?

I haven't taken the TEAs yet but planning on it in like Feb or March. I currently have a 3.8 GPA for my required classes for DSC.

I am looking to apply to DSC's ADN program in May. I have heard only good things about the program! I know several people who have completed it, and each one has passed the NCLEX on the first attempt, which is a good sign. I have also heard that the program is quite difficult, but worth it.

I'm currently in Valencia's program. It is VERY challenging. But amazing and I wouldn't trade it for the world. BUT.... DSC has an equally strong program. It's really only a matter of which is best for you location & time wise.

Hi all! I actually got into the program that starts this month but due to a family emergency/financial issues I was not able to attend. I am planning on applying again for the Fall term in May and applying to UCFs concurrent program

Me and my girlfriend just took the TEAS today and will be applying for the program in May. Daytona State is the college we are planning to attend. Hope everything goes well and we'll get in. We heard good stories about it and hope to enjoy it.

What are yalls GPAs and Teas Score???

I am planning on applying in May as well. I just took my teas and passed, and i am currently finishing up ap2 and micro so i can include those grades with my transcript.

Right now i have a 3.95 GPA (57 credits) and a 74% overall on my teas with 80% in reading and 81% in math. My academic advisor says i have an almost 100% chance of being selected.

I have heard great things about the DSC program not only from students but doctors and medical professionals in the area as well. Good luck!

To answer your question about the TEAS xobecca_booxo , I ended up getting 81% overall, 90% on math, 83% reading, 70% science, and 83% on language arts. :)

Well, it is done. I applied and now I am waiting for them to send me the letter of acceptance. I am very optimistic since I have 3.7 GPA and my Teas is 78. I hope to see you all.
