I was wondering if any of you are looking to apply in May for the DSC Nursing in Fall 2015. I'm looking at going there since theres no wait list, Im currently doing prereqs at Valencia College in Orlando but they have a wait list to get into their nursing, Im going to apply to both but if I get into Daytona Im thinking I'm gonna go there.
First if theres anyone thats a nursing student at VCC or DSC now can you tell me if you like it!?
Anyone over there know good apartment complexes that have student living? Over here in Orlando theres places where you tell the apartment complexes that you want a roommate and they match you with other students. Anyone know of one near DSC?
I haven't taken the TEAs yet but planning on it in like Feb or March. I currently have a 3.8 GPA for my required classes for DSC.
I talked to them and it is 18 months accelerated program. The pre-req you have for DSC work for UCF. The only reason I am not going to UCF is that I need the summers off so I can take the classes that are going to help me bridge over to BSN. So by the time I graduate with ADN, I should have a BSN as well.
I applied for the lpn to RN program at DSC. This will be my third time trying. Hopefully I get a nice thick envelope this time instead of that thin letter. Good luck to everyone!!!

My future DIL received her letter from St Johns River State College this morning letting her know that she was accepted into their ADN program for this fall. Her deadline was like ours. A few different classes, though. I'm so very excited for her!!!! Hopefully only 2 more weeks of anticipation for us future nursing students!
I know. It's a killer!!!!!!! I may call them on Friday. I've got to go do some army active duty time for a few weeks and would at least like to know if they have mailed them out!!!! 💌💌💌📬ðŸ“
