Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Ughh the wait is killing me!! Sucks going through this again. I just want to know when orientations will be :down:

OMG!! This waiting game is ughh! So frustrating! I'm getting tired of seeing the status "Pre-program App BS". How much longer do I have to wait BC? I want to start the program right now! You're killing me here!

North campus said they (all campuses) will start pulling apps in the next few weeks...and make decisions in October. Continue to check your status weekly. Almost there! =)

Hey everyone! I'm Brittany, new to this thread. I also applied for the January 2015 term two weeks ago. This morning, I contacted Nichole, the Health Science Admission woman from Central Campus, asking her why my status was still stating 'Pre-program Application'. She said they are in the process of reviewing August applications and to look out for any updates. About two hours later and my status says 'Application in Review'. So that's exciting!! I was awarded 7 points meaning my GPA for the Nursing Prerequisites is a 3.1. It could be better but not terrible.

I received an overall 92% on the HESI. I studied from the McGraw Textbook and Elsevier, and I highly recommend both for those of you who still need to take it. If anyone needs tips I'll do my best to help :)

I am also taking Micro Lecture with Dr. Hulda Michel and Micro lab with Dr. Keshishian at Central. I hope we all get in :D :D

My status says 'Application in Review'. Last week, Nichole told me they are still reviewing applications.Did you try emailing her?
