Broward College Nursing January 2012

U.S.A. Florida

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Good luck everyone!!

Then disregard.

lol ok then thanks

I can say personally that broward college is not for everybody.I started in the Fall at the south campus. I failed Nursing Process 1 lecture by 2 points (NO EXTRA CREDIT GIVEN). Many STUDENTS will start but few will make it to the end.I have decided to try at another school for my BSN instead of seeking reentry. I would like to know if any one else has failed BC program and moved on to another school?

Hey! I just took the test today and I got 92 on every subject except Vocab and A&P. I plan on going back in a couple of days and re-take it. I was looking in here for some tips to help me pass this the second time because they change the policy. we can only take it twice now then we'll have to wait 3 YEARS before we can takeit again-sounds unbelievable but its true. Can you help me out? I would really appreciate itif you can send me any reviews that you may have for any of these two parts. My email is [email protected] I know its been a while and Im hoping that you still have those reviews.

I really appreciate your help and thank you so much.

That is crazy, pathetic and senseless on so many levels. How did it leap from 6 month to 3 years wait to retake an exam?! This is so unrealistic on their end.

This is unrealistic. Can anyone confirm this?

Sorry, I got carried away...I actually called the nursing department a little over 3 months and the lady said 2 years to retake it. That's what I was told and couple of people confirmed this as well. I hope someone here can respond to this as well.

Thanks! 2 years is still a bit if a wait though. Gosh!
