New grad med evac?

Hi I have a quick question....my local hospital has an opening in med evac and it says they take new grads....from what I have read this is absolutely uncommon. Why would they take a new grad when even our local burn unit won't take a new grad? Surely they aren't flying with patients....

The job description doesn't sound at all like a "med-evac" position. Are you sure that was the title of the position?

Here is the posting from the website.....but they changed it. They have 2 openings, part time and full time, and now they both say "no" by new grad. When I check the status of my application, it says it is still under review. I've applied to 2 other openings that they've immediately said no to. I don't think this is a job I would want, after talking to other people.

My honest opinion is that this was an HR mistake when listing the job and that after they got a ton of new grad applications, they realized their mistake and corrected it.

Yep, Banner is infamous for this. They put up a job listing with no specific information about the job, just the generic crap that was in the job you were interested in. I don't know how they get people to apply without even a short summary of the open position. Not a Banner fan, if you couldn't tell...
