TAKING NCLEX MONDAY JUNE 30th

I was extremely worried last week. I have been using the Saunder Comprehensive Review and CD ROM .

I also signed up for the online review course that is by the NCSBN website. I have been testing in the mid 70s with saunders but in the low 50s - mid 60s with NCSBN.

I kept doing questions all week ( about 400-600 per day) and today i went back to the NCSBN site and took 4 more tests....

I scored in this order...60, 63, 73, 80!

In Saunders I am now scoring in the high 80s - mid 90s....

I definately see an improvement....let's hope it is enough for NCLEX......

I am taking the exam Monday morning so i guess i will get results by Wed.....

I will continue doing questions until about 7pm on Sunday and then I will take a bath and relax, say alot of prayers and get to bed early....

I took the exam on Wednesday and checked on Thursday evening, but the results weren't in yet. I had to wait till Friday.

A friend took her's last Thursday and had her license in the mail on Saturday. Her results were posted at the BON site Friday night/ Saturday early AM.

I took mine friday and received the results by mail today that I PASSED!

Yes, we CAN do this!

I am still waiting and i am dying :eek:

I cant wait ....I hope that the results are up tonight at 3am like i have been reading here.

My 13 year old son who just turned 13 last Thursday interview for a summer volunteer position today at the hospital i will be working at..... they gave him 2 jobs!

One is in Physical therapy and the other in Health Information Management!

How embarassing will it be if i have to drive him to work everyday and I have to come home! :eek: !!!!!!

I am supposed to start my orientation to the ER on monday....he starts his volunteer positions on monday....we've got alot riding on this NCLEX!!!!

OK ...going back to pray some more!!!!

By the way , 3of my classmates took NCLEX today....

Joe said it was a breeze and his shut off at 75...he is "very confident" he passed.

Maryann said hers turned off at 75 and she is sure she failed because she didnt know any of the answers.

Pam went to 190 something and said she doesnt know but that she wasnt feeling too confident towards the end....she thought she was guessing alot on the lat bunch of questions.....AND she had several of the new format style.....GO FIGURE???!!!!

PS...the names have been changed to protect the innocent!

It is 6:15 in the morning and 2 days later. I am still waiting for results. I have to go to work for a few hours. THose will be agonizing too.

Hi everybody. I'm new here & am taking the NCLEX next week. I notice that the last message from RN2B~MAY4ME, above, states that the new format is in affect. However, I also read a thread from a couple of weeks ago saying it got pushed back to October. Does anyone know anything about this?

Also, thanks to all of you who have shared your experiences. It really helps. & Congrats to everyone who has passed!!!

I passed. Word to wise though, check your board of nursing. THey give official results with your licence number for free. Don't bother with the 7.95 unofficial results service.
