Hi all...

I think I have some pre grad jitters. I have one month of critical care left and then 6 weeks of preceptorship and im done. Im starting to get so worried, like the other shoe is about to drop...i feel like at any moment something could happen to threaten all the hard work (blood, sweat and tears, im sure you guys know what I mean) and ruin what I have achieved. My school doesn't allow anything below a C and only 1 C at that. What if I don't pass critical care?? What if I don't pass the ATI (we also get kicked out with no chance for return if we dont pass the ATI)?? I'm stressed out...then after that, what if I fail the NCLEX!! I can see it now, all my profs out there saying, "well we thought she was smart, but turns out she just can't put 2 and 2 together.."...and what doesnt help the situation is my fiencee and the rest of my family are moving 2000 miles away...of course i'll join when im finished, but my fiencee is my rock...ugh.

Anyone else nervous?! is it normal to feel this way so close to the end??

Wow...this sounds so much like me just a very short time ago (graduated 5/19!). Not just me, but practically my whole graduating class so it's normal, believe me. Just stay focused. Take 1 day at a time and try to stop thinking about all the 'what if's' and think about what you have accomplished. Look how far you have come and how much you've learned.

But I do understand completely what you're going through and you will survive.

I have to admit, I've still to take the NCLEX exam and I have similar thoughts about what my instructors will say if I don't pass the first time. And if I don't pass the first time out, I'll take it again, and again...and bugger what they think.
