NCLEX-Feeling like I failed

HELP!!!! I took the NCLEX this morning and was there for an hour and twnety minutes, had 75 questions and it shut off. I wanted it to keep going because I was very unsure of how I did!!!!! I feel like I failed misrrably, and like it was all a blur. I thought I was extremely calm going into the test, but going through it I felt very unsure. Any words of advice on how to work through my thoughts? I am trying to stay positive, and to tell myself that I will just take it again if I failed, but this fear of the unknown is awful!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!

Specializes in stepdown.

Congrats!!! :balloons:

If anyone had a low number of questions (80ish) and failed let me know and I will correct my statement.

I know people who failed on the minimum number of questions.

I felt the same way when I took it! I had 75 questions, about 10-15 alternate format. I finished in under 2 hours, and was so upset when the screen popped up telling me I was finished. I got into my car and cried the entire way home. I passed though! Thank goodness! I am sure you did fine!! :)

I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I COULDN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO RELIEVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS everyone for your support. It is so nice to know three are people out there who really understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :balloons:

GREAT JOB!!!!!!:balloons:

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!!!

To Gauge, the nursing student, you can pass/fail at any # of questions. True, to fail at a low number of questions you would have to miss most of them. But I know of one person from my class that failed at 76 questions.

What triggers more questions is if the computer cannot accurately determine if you are above or below the passing standard. It keeps giving you questions until it can determine that statistically.
