I know theres another "Fall 2017" thread for LPCH, but it seemed like it was for the April cohort instead. So heres a new thread for those who applied to the fall Sept 2017 cohort at LPCH!

There was word going around that they wouldn't have a cohort this season due to the new hospital, but I guess they decided to have one anyways. Let's keep each other updated with anything we hear from them (:

This is so painful to be strung along and in the dark!

Well, I just received the official rejection email from HR.

Good luck to all others who are still waiting.

me too! :( Good luck to everyone else who's application is moving forward

Same - trying not to cry at work! Wasn't meant to be. Thanks for commiserating :)

Same here. Don't be sad everyone! This process is very subjective. Onto the next one!

Got it as well. Not going to lie, I'm a bit confused as to what they're looking for. I completed my externship with them on the unit I applied to, so I was hoping to hear from them for an interview at the least. Hopefully the rest of you will have better luck!

I received a call to interview with NICU! Best of luck to everyone :) don't give up. I can't begin to state how many positions I have applied to and how many of them were rejections. Keep pushing!!

Hi all,

I applied june 6 2017 and chose l&d and post partum and received a "highly interested email" on July 31. I received a call from one of the l&d managers on Tuesday August 8 for next week. I requested for info on who I'll be interviewing with and she said there will be four of them there all l&d managers.

Good luck for anyone else hoping for a call or interviewing!

Yay congrats NurseKAY2017! Are you a BSN grad? When did you graduate? If you don't mind me asking

Hi LDNurseOB1, don't mind at all! yes a BSN grad. Graduated may 2017 :) you?

Awesome! You go girl :)

Same for me, May 2017, BSN. I'm just always looking to boost my resume so I like to chat with people such as yourself that successfully got called for an interview and figure out how I can improve? Do you have lots of volunteer experience?

@LSNURSEOB1 Not successful yet! Haha let's see how that interview goes! But yes I did volunteer at both Stanford and LPCH, worked as a caregiver and currently work for an in home health service care provider (basically caregiver for my county)

How ab you?
