I just wanted to announce to my AllNurses friends that I have been offered a position as an RN on a Pedi. Psych Inpatient unit at a small psychiatric hospital. I know that in this economy that its rather difficult for many new grads. to find a job and I'm really stoked that I found one in an area that I'm really interested in working.

No they didn't offer me the job on the spot after the interview. First, I interviewed with the managment team and then they asked me to come in the next week to shadow with a nurse for a few hours and then after the shadowing they called me the next day to tell me that I have the job.
