..Between Graduation and taking the boards? Im guessing I should try and take them sooner rather than later. People tell me its easier with the info still in your mind. Any thoughts?

I just graduated yesterday, and I'm hoping to take the NCLEX by June 8th. I sent my paperwork in to the state back in April. Does anyone know how long NY usually takes to get you your ATT?

I graduated Mar 27, tested April 15, was licensed April 17th, started work on the floor (orienting) as an LPN on April 23. Dunno how true it is, but the people who administered our "mock state boards" at the end of school said that they suggest taking the NCLEX within 3 weeks of graduating, as the success rate starts to drop from then on ...... fwiw. I just wanted to get it over and get to work.
