Ok, so:
I graduated
Passed NCLEX
Found an almost to good to be true sounding job that I will start next Monday after moving to Colorado Springs.
But here's the thing: I've done nothing but go to school for two + years and have always been somewhat socially inept outside of a hospital/patient care setting (its weird, I know). I've had enough of not being able to think of anything to do beside study. And I've seen enough movies by myself to last a lifetime... I need help!
Does anyone have any suggestions for finally developing my social life?

Find a hobby. Is there anything you'd like to try? Hiking, mountain biking, stamp collecting, etc?

Hi Kiringat -
I am in the Colo. Springs area also. There are a lot of activities that you can do here. I suggest looking on experiencecoloradospring.com or you can look in Craigslist for a "club" to join, like a book club or scrapbooking or whatever you are into. You can join a church. If you have kids you can join Mommy and Me groups, etc. There are a lot of activities that center in Colorado Springs so get out and enjoy! Good luck, Kelly
