FCCA heartbreak

  1. 0
It is with great sadness that I have to announce that I only passed 1 of the 2 portions of the FCCA today.

This is my first failure with EC and I am having trouble recovering. I only BARELY failed. oop:

I don't know what I could have done differently. I will have to reach deep down to see if I want to continue this journey.

Maybe I am still in such shock that I can't make a rational decision at this point in time.

So close, but yet so far from where I really want to be.

Thanks for listening!! Sorry such a negative post.

Sorry to hear that. The worst part is you have to wait to take it again and then it is 2 month taking it. Were you able to sign up for the Nov/Dec one?

Your on the last legs of this fun journey.

Take a deep breath, regroup and nail it next time. It is no longer an unknown, so you will do it.

Don't give up! You have made it too far. Regroup this wknd and prepare yourself for success. It's a minor setback for a major comeback! You will get it the next time. :-) see what your options are first thing Monday morning with Excelsior!

On the bright side you now know what to expect. You will get it next time. Sending up prayers for you.👏

I haven't been able to sign up yet. The class ends today (Sunday October 20) & I have to wait until the grade post/when this class officially ends. It says it can take up to 2 weeks before the grade is posted.

By the way, your post on BSNINTHEWORKS was great. I HATE to use the word failure/fail too, but I like your wife's explanation for it, she sounds very supportive. I usually say that I was unsuccessful.

    Thanks for the kind words.

I actually read your "confession". I thought it was insightful. That's funny you blamed the dog.

I love what you said; "it is a minor setback for a major comeback", that is great!! I never looked at it that way. Yes, I planned to call first thing Monday to see what my options are.

    Thanks for your inspirational words!!

I really shouldn't be too surprised that I was unsuccessful in #498. I struggled through most of the class. I was just hopeful that I would have done better on my final.

After a good STERN talking to from my husband, he is the most incredibly supportive person on the planet; he said that WE have come way too far to stop at this point. He said it is only 1 test & I need to bring out the "angry Brenda" in me to conquer this. He knows exactly what to say to keep me from feeling sorry for myself.

I appreciate ALL of you for your support and I guess we will see what is next for me come this Monday.
