Excelsior Health Safety Exam

I'm getting ready to take the Health Safety exam. I've used Study Group 101 and am thinking about using the Nursing practice test website. Has anyone used that site before, they say they will help you pass but arent affiliated with Excelsior. Also helpful hints on which the best way to study for these exams? I feel very lost right now. Thank you in advance

Which exam are you studying to take ? Health safety was not a hard exam.. I took transition into the professional nurse role and that one was very very hard. Excelsior practice exams and study group 101 is enough and of course read the text in the outline.

I am studying for Health Safety right now. I find the content easy to comprehend. I LOVE this one as compared to Transitions (which was the worst one yet). I feel like, "Oh this one will be easy, no problem". But sometimes after reading through comments you tend to second guess yourself. I think that's what I am doing, second guessing myself because of other students' experiences with this exam. If it looks easy, God willing, it will be easy. :up:

i think it all depends on your study habits, level of comprehension, and experience. Most people, i think, would say that health safety was one of the easier ones, as well as health differences (both fundamentals review from PN) and reproductive health. Some people really have a hard time with LS1, but it seems if you were in EMS or a paramedic you will breeze through that one because its cardiac and respiratory. Everyone is different.:sarcastic:

I am studying for health safety exam also and I am taking the exam on monday. I have also found the context somewhat easy and easy to comprehend. I hope i can do well on the exam! I used the study guides provided by excelsior college and scored ok but my grades weren't wonderful. i have continued to study since then. I will let everyone know how my exam goes. I am very nervous about this exam because i have not had success with the transition exam (failed by 2 points). Anyone have any extra study tips for me before i take the health safety exam?

Make sure you fully understand therapeutic communication (lots of critical thinking questions on that) and know the nursing process inside out..

thanks for your help!! I've been focusing a lot of the therapeutic communication stuff, that can get tricky at times. overall i have found this section easy to study for but now that my exam is monday I'm beginning to overthink it all!!
