Hello everyone. My name is dipali. I am from nj. Scheduled to take my CPNE at Utica, NY on 5/09/2014. Very nervous about this one. Please any advice will be welcomed. Thank you

Heard many great things. It seems the likeliness to get a peds pt is low. Search "cpne Utica" for more info. Hope it goes smooth!

Hi! I'm also in NJ scheduled to take CPNE in Utica the same weekend! Where in NJ are you? Maybe we could study together at some point?? From other students that have gone to Utica it seems to be a good testing site!! (Which does put me at ease....for now!) :)

Practice :bookworm:, Practice :banghead:, Practice!!! :arghh: It's the only way to get comfortable enough to do it - anxiety/nerves are the biggest thing that throws everyone off because on any normal day, not one of us would forget to wash our hands right? - If you know your stuff the EC way and start saying everything out loud - seriously! , and you will conquer!! - I hear Utica is great, I went to Madison. I tested at Utica this weekend. The CEs and CA were great. They sincerely do want you to pass, but you have to know your stuff. Be proficient at care planning and know your critical elements forward and backward. The biggest challenge to overcome was my nerves. Once I got them under control, it was smooth sailing from there. Feel free to ask me any questions, I will be happy to answer them if I can!

Hi pixie RN. I have read the excels SG once. Taking sheri Taylor's online workshop just started a week ago. Memorizing the mnemonics. I have not started to practice the skills yet but I will soon. Do u have any suggestions? Any help is welcome. I also have ordered robs CPNE CDs so I am watching his videos as well.

Hey Dipali do not worry practice 2 and send your care plans t EC thru message center and take phone advice that way you will be on track read the SG and know your CE like back of your hand and practice labs as well during eating sleeping lol best of luck a friend of mine took two yrs ago there and passed first time .Control your nerves if you cannot take rescue remedy for stress management or do deep breathing.
