CPNE changing to one day??

Did I hallucinate this? I distinctly remember seeing a notice that the CPNE was changing to a one day exam. Now I can't find evidence of it anywhere and everyone who is talking about taking it is still saying the CPNE is 2 1/2 days. Have I gotten this mixed up with something else? Though I'm not sure what that would be.

If one day only, what would they cut out? The chances to re-do? Would there be a concurrent drop in the fee?

I don't know! I remember being very happy at the time that it was cut to one day, and I remember thinking that possibly they were doing this because I've heard the waiting list for the CPNE is horrendous so if it was only one day they could fit more people in quicker. But now I can't find any evidence of this notice. So maybe I did hallucinate it. :arghh:

never heard it. Don't see how it could be done either.

The Excelsior CPNE workshops were reduced to one day. Not the exam itself.

Oh thank you @Pixie.RN. At the time I got the message I didn't even realize there were workshops so that's where I got confused. Thanks for clearing that up.
