Need clarification...I was told if a&p has been previously taken it must be within 5 years for excelsior to accept. Then I was shown an email from a co-worker's advisor (she is also going with excelsior) that a&p is good for 7 years. Anyone know for sure or where to find it on their website? Have several mixed stories with different advisors and its really making me nervous.

It's 5 years but best to check with excelsior directly

Hi, I found it on their website:

https://my.excelsior.edu/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=df3df84d-d138-4f59-8b31-df5be9b1f607&groupId=78666

Where it lists A&P and also Micro, the footnote #8 says 5 years. I've never heard of 7 years...

Is it possible that your co-worker misunderstood? Once EC accepts it, you have 7 years to complete the program without having to retake it. If not completed in 7 years, you're dismissed and would have to complete the sciences yet again, based on the requirements at that time, as wells as any new requirements and possibly reapply. Just my thoughts on the matter....

I had the same thought as Lynda - 7 years is the length of time to finish. Nothing else has been 7 years!

I am fixing to take A&P.... any tips? I am a LPN. Any comments and or tips on the online nursing program at Excelsior would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone taken the RNbridgeprogram.com approach? Thanks!!
