Health Safety Exam Tomorrow!

I'm taking the Health Safety Exam tomorrow (sat am), wish me luck....the practice tests were hard and I didn't do that great on either one. I hope I pass tomorrow I've been studying my rear off.....fingers crossed!:cool:

I used studygroup 101 and the saunders RN nclex review book it helped alot.Thank you guys for all the support, its :Dmuch appreciated!:D

i agree. i used studygroup101, saunders and

excelsior nursing health safety computer-based exam cd

which i found on eBay . Its the same thing as the online pre-exam thru exclesior except on your pc and no limit on how many exam attempts.

i got a b on my exam. and found questions in saunders that where really close and even more in the computer-based exam cd.

got my saunder's on amazon for .60 without a cd and the other program on ebay for $50; cheaper than $75 thru excelsior!

Unless it's from EC or the eBay seller is stealing copyrighted materials, it's not the same thing as the EC practice exams. By the way, you can access the EC practice exams for a good period of time after you take them to study the rationales. When I was going through EC I used some non-EC practice exams, but found the real exams from EC to be more helpful (considering they write the actual test). Just my opinion ... YMMV. ;)

Actually, a lot of the questions on the exam came from Saunders. Unless Excelsior has an agreement with them to use their questions they too would have infringed copyrighted material. I am not saying the questions were word for word but covered the same educational objectives that are asked on the acutal exam.

From what I read on Exclesior practice exam after 3 months or after taking both exam A and B you no longer have access to it even for review. That's why I went with the Ebay one. I own and can use it when I want and however often I want.

The three months/90 days is correct, but you have access to both forms A and B for review during the entire 90 days, even after you've taken both of the exams. Ample time, really.

are there other cds available for the other nursing test or is excelsior nursing health safety computer-based exam cd

the only cd available? it tried to contact the seller,

but never get a response.

I did what Cocosdad did and used nursingexam.net practice exam. Guess what! I got a freaking A!!!

Don't waste your money - go the extra $20 bucks and get the REAL practice exams developed by the actual test givers - the ones that will actually grant you credit for the course - Excelsior. "No correct answers, program cuts off before time is up,seller not helpful, etc." - feedback quote on ebay
