Student Loans and Nursingexam.net
Hell ya! That's what I used for the Health Safety Exam! It's actually a computer based practice exam program that you can use over and over again. Used it about a month. Got a B the second time taking the exit exam but an F on the first try.

What is Nursingexam.net?
Nursingexam.net help me pass excelsior's health safety exam. They sell a computer program that is a practice exam. I used it for a month before taking the exam the second time. I got an "F" the first time and a "B" the second time! And no they do not sell study guides that are already out there because I tried to find their practice exam program out there and could not. lol

Health Safety Exam Tomorrow!
Actually, a lot of the questions on the exam came from Saunders. Unless Excelsior has an agreement with them to use their questions they too would have infringed copyrighted material. I am not saying the questions were word for word but covered the same educational objectives that are asked on the acutal exam. From what I read on Exclesior practice exam after 3 months or after taking both exam A and B you no longer have access to it even for review. That's why I went with the Ebay one. I own and can use it when I want and however often I want.

Health Safety Exam Tomorrow!
i agree. i used studygroup101, saunders and excelsior nursing health safety computer-based exam cd which i found on eBay . Its the same thing as the online pre-exam thru exclesior except on your pc and no limit on how many exam attempts. i got a b on my exam. and found questions in saunders that where really close and even more in the computer-based exam cd. got my saunder's on amazon for .60 without a cd and the other program on ebay for $50; cheaper than $75 thru excelsior!

Excelsior Health Safety Exam
just thought of another great source; saunders. wish i would have study that a little bit more. i recall some material came out of saunders, off that [color=#002398]excelsior nursing health safety computer-based exam cd--someone sent me a private message which for some reason i cannot respond to, he want to know if i used excelsiors practice exam. no i used that one and you can find it on ebay or nursingexam.net. also, if you don't have saunders, i purchased my copy for .60 on amazon.com. the shipping was more than the book. it's not the current edition and didnt have the cd inside which i knew when i order it. if i can find a good deal on the current version i prob. by another copy for the cd. proceed with cauction as you're taking the exam if it seems really easy and go super slow in answering the questions and read each question over and over. on some i almost answered wrong because i misread.

Excelsior Health Safety Exam
I took the health safety exam on Monday and passed. I used studygroup primarly to study from but purchased Lisa Arends and some other girls study guide off Ebay. When it was down to the wire I had way to much study guide material to study all three so I felt studygroup was better so I focuse on that one. I am a last min person so I didnt start to study hard until four days before the exam and really hard the day before; spent at least 10 hours that day. Instead of Excelsior's practice exam I found a computer-based practice exam on Ebay--can not think of the name of that person either--but it was on $20 and you can use it without limitation. Excelsior is only two times and you have to be online. Anyhow, when I walked into Pearson Vue I was FREAKING out and afer the first 10 questions I began to calm down because the questions where super easy--at least I thought--but many of them were on this exam program I found. So after I finished I felt really positive that I had close to a 100% but I didnt! That was a let down, first exam wanted to hit it out of the park. But I did pass with a B. The lesson I learned was to start sooner, stay with it consistantly and possible read the text at least once and use the two thing to study from.

I have been kicked out of my nursing program because of failed courses
Sounds like you have the drive! Keep going. Like the billboard saids: If you are X years old now in 2,3,4 or however long it takes, you are going to be Y years old. So you can be Y years older with the BSN or without. Right?:)

Kineshetic learner
For me if I switch it up I learn a lot better. If I am sitting down studying and move to walking around and study I retain a lot more but if i can't repeat or teach what I ve learn to someone else then the material isnt anchored.

Excelsior: Health and Safety EXAM
i just took the health safety test on monday and i passed with a b. i am a paramedic so i ve never had any nursing theory material and found my brain had to think differently. although i have bought a lotttt of recomended text books, for the most part, i didnt crack em at all. at first i did with the fundamentals but all the nursing theory stuff made my brain hurt. so for about 12 hours over the week before--3 or 4 hours on saturday and all day sunday--i study stuff i got off ebay from studygroup101 and did a computer-base exam (something like over 200 questions) from ahhh can't think of the name of the seller but the cd is called excelsior nursing health safety computer-based exam cd. in addion too those two, i bought linda arends study guide and did look at but she has her logo on all the pages and it's hard to read. so i found i had so much material to look at when i was down to the wire i just stayed with studygroup and the computer-based exam cd. i will say that i was freaking out that morning. my exam was at 3:30pm. but when i sat down and started taking the exam after a few questions i felt "this is too easy of a exam" and started to relax. i did feel i had a 100% of course i didnt and was really upset that i didnt. so i think the computer-based cd and studygroup did help.
