When I left my chronic HD position in 2005, I was making 24/hour in North Florida with 12 years acute/chronic experience and a CNN cert. My friends still there say it hasn't gotten much better since then.

Guam gov't hospital: RN, no exp, acute hemodialysis unit, $17/hr
Private dialysis centers: RN, no exp, same rate.

Check out glassdoor.com or salary.com.
In NJ, I started $29/hr six years ago (2 years RN but no prior dialysis experience at that time).

If you go to monster nursing forum, don't know the web addy, they can provide salaries for all areas in the US - If you are looking for dialysis pay rates, you can check the facilities inspection report at www.qualitysafepatientcare.com where they have posted surveys for California -- look before you leap

My cousin works at Davita dialysis center somewhere in Lomalinda CA, she graduated 2008 got her license and worked for a year at an LTC with salary of $28/hr then she applied at davita got hired with a starting salary of $36.5/hour, works 4 days a week, 8 hours a day and works every other saturdays..she's so lucky and I'm so envious! :uhoh21:
