Foley Catheter Use After Kidney Transplant

I had recently been floated to a renal clinic and was working on a prior-authorization submission that has stuck in my head. I noticed a patient, whom has had a history of a kidney transplant, receives 30 indwelling foley catheters with the catheter insertion kits, as well as 60 intermittent catheters EVERY month.
I found this to be somewhat strange, but am curious as to reasoning why?

Probably due to obstructive uropathy or neurogenic bladder. Some renal transplant pts can still develop obstructive uropathy and not be able to void on their own. However, its very important that they stay well hydrated and so of course they need to urinate.

One catheter per night and enough for 2 straight caths/day. Renal transplant may have nothing at all to do with it. A new catheter every night is prolly because of the risk of UTI because of immunosuppression meds.
