Since I've worked in the jail, it's come to my attention how little I know about dermatology. Every single day someone wants to show me a rash. I know a textbook ringworm, mostly because I've had it. Any recommendations for a good portable reference book with pictures to help me determine excema vs. heat rash vs shingles vs fungal vs etc? Thanks

Oooh! Great question!!! My clients, (in patient LTC psych) always have rashes, too!!

Look on Google. Most rashes in prison are mrsa or eczema

I have a nice fat copy of Fitzpatrick's color altas and synopsis of clinical dermatology on my bookshelf. When I am wondering about a rash where do I look? You guessed it, Google!
