Where do you work?

U.S.A. Colorado

Looking at moving to CO after the new year. I'm familiar with the area, but not hospitals. Where I live depends on where I work. I'm hoping for Fort Collins, Loveland, or Denver. I would like to know what hospital you work for, your opinion, and your ratios, please!

there are quite a few threads on this topic in this forum. give them a look

Specializes in Emergency/Cath Lab.

I think you might be hard pressed to find opinions of the hospitals the people work for on such a public forum. It could be quite damaging to their career. Rather I would focus on the HCA/Centura?University debate that rages on about which system is better and you will find more answers there I bet. There is a thread not too far down that explores this.

My thoughts exactly. I NEVER explicitly state who my current employer is on these forums (although I'm sure people could figure it out if they stalked my posts) and I certainly wouldn't give ANY public opinion of my employer beyond "They're awesome! I love working for them!" (which happens to be the truth about my current employer)

Lots of changes going on in Denver with both Centura and University taking over/purchasing many of the other local hospitals and clinics. Centura bought Longmont United. UCH bought Poudre Valley (Fort Collins) and MCR (Loveland). Pretty soon, them and HCA might be the only games in town.
