Receiving license # after NCLEX

Hello all,

Just curious if anyone has information on how long it takes DORA to post licenses after passing the NCLEX? I passed the NCLEX a little over 2 weeks ago and still "pending". I emailed the person "in charge" of my file, she sent me back a short message that simply said "The process can take 3 weeks". What blows my mind is everything is electronic...crazy.

Hey jenpint, yeah the information you received is about right, I was told within 14 business days... Sometimes they might make an exception for you if you need your License number to keep a job but outside of that its a waiting game...

Hey jenpint, how long did it end up taking for you for your license number to post? I'm going on two weeks with a job waiting and it's driving me nuts. I can't do anything until it posts

I was just wondering if your license number has posted yet. Today is my 20th day waiting, I've sent an email to my DORA lady and I just got the generic reply.

Rockstarninja, it took me 14 days to show up on Dora. I think the trick of it was calling, I called twice and asked for a time frame, who was reviewing it and their contact information. It was pushed through before I could contact the supervisor who was reviewing it. I hope today's the day for you.
