Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
Laura, Thank you for the update! Gave me a little relief. I applied online March 18th, and sent everything off overnight on the 21st. Hopefully my experience will move as smoothly as yours :) Congrats!

Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA
Hi there! I am glad I'm not the only one here who freaked out about the "oral communication" credit. I went to nursing school in Texas and all that was required was the 3 credit English course, and 3 credit Literature course. Since it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone there, can you please update on how this turns out? I am sort of in the same boat here having to deal with 2 different BON's back to back for my RN license. Passed the NCLEX over 2 weeks ago, still sitting here waiting on Colorado to post my license so I can even begin the process of applying to CA. We will be moving there at the end of May, and the time crunch is killing me right now after reading all of these postings...ugh!

Receiving license # after NCLEX
Hello all, Just curious if anyone has information on how long it takes DORA to post licenses after passing the NCLEX? I passed the NCLEX a little over 2 weeks ago and still "pending". I emailed the person "in charge" of my file, she sent me back a short message that simply said "The process can take 3 weeks". What blows my mind is everything is electronic...crazy.

Advice for new nurse moving to CO
I know this posting is old, but some advice for people trying to move here... I moved here from Texas due to my husband's military assignment. I had just graduated RN school, so took a job as a peds home health LPN right away to have an income, and a job until I passed the NCLEX. Just the process of trying to get everything in order for DORA to allow me take the exam was a complete hassle for starters, meanwhile in Texas all of my classmates had hospital jobs lined up BEFORE graduation. I participated in a new grad phone conference for Centura Health, basically they said don't even bother applying until you have your license. I passed the NCLEX 2 weeks ago, still waiting on my license to appear. The story seems to be that this is a very competitive nursing market out here. The home health company I work for is loaded with RNs, and now I know why. I hope this helps anyone who actually has a choice to secure a job BEFORE you get here!

Nclex RN February 2017
Took the NCLEX Feb 21st, passed in 75 questions. ALL I used to study for the NCLEX was Uworld, it is a great tool. I finished the whole question bank, went through some of the questions I got wrong, ended up with an average of 65%, 92nd percentile. I took the self assessment, had a "very high" probability of passing. The NCLEX looks EXACTLY like Uworld's set up, which helped ease some of the stress. If you use Uworld just be sure to read all of the rationales, even if you got the answer right. Good luck to those taking NCLEX soon!!

Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest
I just wanted to let everyone know the "trick" worked for me. I used an expired credit card, it gave me the "good pop up", it never prompted me that my card had expired or was declined. I tried it 24 hours after I took the test on April 22nd. I just got my quick results today, and I passed!

Anyone attending Galen San Antonio?
I will be going to the day program. I was originally going to do the evening program and continue working also, but my husband retires in about 2 1/2 years so I have to buckle down and get it done! Evening or day, it doesn't matter, you are headed in the right direction and will be so proud of yourself when you finish!

Anyone attending Galen San Antonio?
I'm starting the program in April also! I wasted so much time trying to get into a community college nursing program back home in CA. We moved here in Oct due to the military, I am so thankful for all of the opportunities here in San Antonio as far as nursing school goes.
