So Can Only Apply Once to a Job>?

Hello everyone, thanks for checking my post , I'm new to this forum and I would like to ask you something . If there's only one opportunity to apply for a CNA job in a LTC or Hospital. Since there is a number of opportunities in the job list , I'm interested to apply for. same for CNA or Patient attendant .

A person told me that when applied can only do it once .to the hospital every 6 months and the same for LTCF .

I live in North Jersey. so if you are familiar with the area and would you mind giving me guidance on how to find a JOB. since there is only one way. Online

I went to many LTCF trying to apply and they told that only online applications not written .

and more than 500 jobs resumes received daily 'm kind of wondering if once I'd have a chance. thanks in advance.

I have found no luck in applying for jobs online. Five hundred applications for each job opening? Well, then, how are you to get a job? You have to be persistent or be willing to relocate and start extending your job search out away from your home until you finally find someone willing to hire you. I still would approach employers in person though, because I find it hard to believe that there is not one out there that will take a paper application from a prospective employee. I get all of my jobs from walking in the door, ready to interview, with employment documents in hand, so I know that online is not the exclusive way to hire.

what I meant with 500 resumes received, was that I asked the HR after I applied. and she responded

'WELL , we have an approx.. 500 Resumes daily meaning a high volume of submissions, so we are unable to contact you . only if you are a strong candidate" .

For me , that is absolutely impossible because I will have to get a powerful resume. or many many years of experience AND as you said maybe the President's daughter in order to qualify hahahah :writing: okkkk but my question was there is only once every 6 months that a person can submit a job application???

If you are applying to a hospital and there are job postings for different departments, then apply to each posting. If there are multiple postings for the same department, then only apply once.

If there is a statement there that says only one application every six months, then apply only once every six months. They put that statement there because they are being overwhelmed by the 500 plus applications that they are receiving daily and they are trying, somehow, to stem the tide. But, frankly, I would not be putting stock in finding employment at places like this. You will have better luck applying elsewhere, smaller facilities, where someone might have the time to even acknowledge you when you walk into the place.

Hospitals generally want 6 months LTC experience, so it seems you have very little chance of getting a job at a hospital until you get at least 6months. Don't let that stop you from appling tho.

I agree, only apply for a specific position and only apply once. If something else comes up in less than 6 months, I'd apply to that one too.

As far as getting into a nursing home or other facility, you may WANT full time, but you may have to get your foot in the door by working part time or per diem. Most of the positions where I work are part time/per diem and after 3 months you can transfer into a full time or a different shift. I have never seen an "outsider" get a full time position, they've always hired within for full time.
