Hi everyone , I just wanted to share

this that happened to me just before to start my job in 2 days .

somebody of my friends , let's say people that I know , asked me if I definitely get the job a LTC .

I said yes to her. And she mentioned the name of the facility , and I said well yes . Than she said to me that I will be treated like crap by my coworkers (other cnas ) and that she wishes all the good for me . This person just made me feel so bad and wanted to already quit without started yet. Lol I feel so so disappointed . I know this was her experienced since she worked there before . I know everyone talks depends on how your experience was . I can not explain all the horrible things that this person told me about this place . Specially of the other cnas in the facility . ;'(

i do really need this job since I ve been looking for a job 4 month ago . When I got certified . :( and no hospital or rehab center will hire me without LTC experience . I live in jersey what do you think . I just want to wash my brain from all of this garbage that people just put in mind. Thanks for all your input in advanced .

There are always going to be people who like to stir up trouble, no matter what industry it is. There are also many factors we don't know here. A wise man once told me that there are three sides to every story: My side, the other person's side, and the truth. You've only heard your friend's experience. It is never a good idea to allow someone else's experience to taint yours. Give it at least a couple of months before you decide one way or the other. An open mind makes all the difference in the world.

:woot: Wow I wanted to hear that thanks for your comment . :sneaky: I want to be that open mind person .

It also depends on how you approach the situation and the job you do.

Go into willing to give it your all. Help your co-worker even if they don't help you.

Do the best you can with what you have (good team work or not) and realize that this is a tough job no matter how you look at it.

Stay positive and out of the dirty gossip and you will be fine no matter what.
