Just wanna ask a quick question, is it ok to mail in job applications cos I'm broke and I dun have money for the rides so I'm thinking about mail in all of them. Or do I have to turn it in, in person? If I do the mail in way does it affect me from getting the job?

If you don't take them to the facility in person you are missing out on the opportunity to be interviewed and hired on the spot.

Thank you very much caliotter3 for your valuable advice...now I'll have to turn it in, in person then...

If you cannot submit applications in person, the next best option would be to fax your resume to these facilities and place a follow-up telephone call to each place's hiring manager within 24 hours.

Do you have public transport where you live? If so, look into getting a bus pass, many have discounts if you are a student.

Even if you dont get a discount, the pass is worth the money you have to spend up front, and I do know, believe me, it may be hard to get that money togethor if you are lacking funds, but it is worth it.

It is always beter to go in person IMO, they see you, get to know you a bit, sending it in you are just words on a page among many others.
