Nursing Students CNA/MA

Does anyone know what the process is to become a CNA in Mass.? can't seem to find it anywhere, I know there's classes for it but i am just wondering if it is something I can self study for?

No you can not self study. If you are a nursing student that has completed their 1st or maybe has to be 2nd semester of nursing school you can challenge the States test many times

But if you are someone just wanting to become a CNA you take a CNA course for a few weeks which also includes clinicals. After passing the course you will take your States test and be able to get your certificate.

Yes to the American Red Cross. Google it for your local chapter.

You may also be able to get reimbursed for the total cost of the class once you begin working in a nursing home.

The Red Cross will be able to tell you if that is an option in your area.
