Tell me about a time that you did not agree with a superior

Tell me about a difficult patient

How do you deal with conflict

They'll want to know what experience you have. If you don't have experience, what previous work experience do you have that would lend itself to a CNA position? Customer service is a BFD in hospitals, or that's the impression that I got from my hospital interviews, so if you were a cashier or worked in retail in high school highlight your customer service experience. If you don't have any work experience talk about your experience in your CNA training.

REMEMBER if you don't get the job that this is all great for experience for your next interview. Eventually you'll be really comfortable interviewing. Always find a silver lining.

I just had 2 PCT interviews last week. Both were very different. The first one asked questions like: what would you do if you were charting after you finished your morning duties and someone else's patients call light was constantly going off, but the call light was not being answered? Another question was: give an example of a time when you had to be a patient advocate.

Most of the questions were asking to give examples. The first interview I had was mostly about safety and prioritizing patient care according to which patient will take most time to get ready in the mornings etc.

The second interview seemed to be based on customer service. The interviewer asked things like: if a patient asked you to do something for him/her that you knew would not be good for their health, how would you respond to them? They wanted you to respond by not exactly saying no. Explaining to the patient that you can't do that and give the reason why, but NO would never be in your vocabulary when speaking to a patient.

Just be ready to answer anything! Go in with confidence and act like you really really want to work there. Like its the best hospital in the world. That's what I did and I go offered both jobs I interviewed for with no experience at all. I'm sure you will do great:)
