I started at Chamberlain for the BSN in Sept 2008--I was 56 at the time, and had a lap chole the same day class started. I graduated October 2010 with GPA 3.93. You can do it!

Yes, you can! Chamberlain in a wonderful program. I graduated in June of 2010 and am now in my second year of a NP program and Chamberlain completely prepared me for grad school. One course at a time is a excellent way to do it. It will change how you view yourself as a nurse. It made me very cognizant of the need for nurses to be change agents and not just clock punchers. Best of luck to you!

You can do it! I started July 2009 during a cross country move and finished in Feb 2011. About 1 1/2 years for me.

I enjoyed Statistics. I watched the recordings of the live lecture so that I could start and stop when I needed to. I learned a lot in Economics but it took a little more effort.

Hi all! Started Chamberlain last July, and have to say I'm pretty happy with my experience so far. They took the maximum number of credits from my first bachelor's degree, so I only have 32 credits to do to complete my BSN.

I've just finished Informatics and Economics. Informatics was good, but you guys are right, Economics was a total PIA! Final grades haven't been posted yet, so I'm unsure of how I did on that course. The thing is worth a whopping 260 pts!

I'm just starting Evidence-Based Practice now. Looking through its syllabus during preview week made me nervous. If I hadn't had to study for the Economics final last week, I would've started one of the papers! Has anyone taken this class yet? Any advice?

EBP isn't too bad. Three of the weeks are reading the same two studies and identifying the different parts of the research. The other two papers are just annotated bibliographies of 7 articles that pertain to your topic. One paper is 3 articles and the other is 4 articles. Don't get worried! It is a bit of writing, but in my book it was much easier than writing a complete research paper.

I got an A in Econ! Don't know how I did it! If I could do it, so can you! I love Chamberlain!

..and so far, I'm really enjoying Intro to the Humanities as well!

Congratulations! I got an A- for both the exam and course, which means the professor was obviously blind with fatigue when he was reading my essays! :D Not complaining, though!

Way to go! I liked the Econ class. It was hard but it opened my eyes to some things.

I hear ya! I got a B- for the final, 212/260 = 81. For the entire course I got 912/1000, so I pulled the A by the skin of my teeth!

I wish I could say that I enjoyed Econ! I tried my best to learn and absorb the info, but I still feel like it was a bit of information-overload. I hate to say that even though it's only been a week I still don't remember much :(

Ok, well I'am currently in the application process and I am supposed to start Chamberlain in January 2012. I work full-time and part-time two evenings, I have 2 children and a very supportive husband, however, I keep reading about all these papers that need to be written and to be honest, I am not very good with writing papers, at ALL! Should I get out now before it's too late???
