Hello All,

I am starting a thread for those applying to Chamberlain for the class that starts May 2017. What does your GPA and HESI scores look like?? I have a 3.72 GPA and will be taking the HESI for the first time tomorrow morning. I am a little nervous on what to expect.

I used the original evolve hesi a2 4th edition it helped tremendously and the questions where very similar

I also google a lot of hesi practice test ! No questions had nothing to do with bees wax

the test was pretty simple and straight to the point

definetly know specifics for anatomy

Hi everyone! Just with curiousty, has any one of the adivsors called you about your HESI score and said how Chamberlain has a different way of scoring the hesi? I got a 92 on my HESI (At the end itll show your total score), but the advisor told me thats its 88 with Chamberlain's scoring method. I wanted her to show proof but she did not want to comply. I feel like I am being tricked since it was my first attempt. I searched through their website but did not find a single thing about how Chamberline scores the HESI differently.

Hello Cassie,

I am in the same boat as you, I scored a 91% and they dropped it to an 89%...not too sure why and they wouldn't really explain it me either.

Exactly, it's so strange, isn't it!? I just don't think it's fair. Let's just hope for the best from here.

They have a specialized score that weighs Each catergory different... I'm a current student and I took mine in January with no problems. Sorry ladies!!

I believe they adjust the scoring to make certain sections hold more weight. So if you scored lower in certain sections that Chamberlain weighs more heavily it will drop your adjusted grade.

Hello Kayluh12,

So I got a call yesterday about whether or not I would be accepted for Fall of 2017 and they told me my file was "on hold"...is this what they told you or did they actually say that you were on a waitlist? I'm very confused and now it just makes me more nervous than I already am :(

I was told I was accepted but that it was for September 2017. However, on the Thursday before may 1, they called and told me I could start classes. How was your essay? How is your GPA? They are getting more and more competitive

My GPA is a 3.67 overall and I have taken every class that will transfer over to Chamberlain. My Hesi is a 89% though and I think that is what got me...I also thought I did really well on my essay. I guess all I can do is hope that that they call me soon saying I got accepted.

Hello ,

Do you know when the deadline to apply for the September 2017 start date?

Hi! I believe the deadline was on May 1, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks I guess I missed that date. Now I need to find out the next enrollment date
