Hello All,
I am starting a thread for those applying to Chamberlain for the class that starts May 2017. What does your GPA and HESI scores look like?? I have a 3.72 GPA and will be taking the HESI for the first time tomorrow morning. I am a little nervous on what to expect.
Hello, I take my Hesi Exam for Chamberlain in a couple weeks...Do you have any last minute tips? I have an overall 3.7gpa but I am very nervous about taking this exam...What are the Biology/Chemistry/AP questions like? I have been using McGraw-Hill's 3 Evolve Reach Practices Tests (Hesi A2) and I am pretty intimidated by some of the questions involving parts of plants/worms/beeswax, etc...were there any questions like that on the biology part? Do you suggest any websites where they had free practice tests? Thank you.
Hi what day did you take your hesi? Have you heard back?
Yeah my advisor called me April 28 with the first score but not again after my test on May 2nd. I emailed her and then I got that email stating I had a new advisor. So ill try again Monday since I haven't been able to get ahold of her. What was your score? Yes good luck and hope you get in!!!
So I have been trying for months to reach a counselor or advisor and no one has returned my calls. I was curious if anyone was in my predicament and could give me advice. I have all my liberal arts prerequisites done but none of my science classes, am I still required to take the hesi to apply? I was hoping to start the 3 yr program from the beginning but sounds like the majority of people are finished with prerequisites and apply just to the nursing program. I really want to attend Chamberlain so I don't have to worry about applying to nursing school later but I am starting to think maybe take the science classes at a JC and apply later. Any info will be helpful. Thanks!
You do still have to take the HESI, but the sections you haven't completed don't count against you. My friend just started May 1st and she had not completed her sciences yet. I highly recommend taking as many classes as you can at a JC to cut down the pricing. With the pricing each pre req class will cost you about $2500-3000 to complete considering its $665 a credit I believe. They are starting to get more and more competitive though, so if you go that route make sure to keep your GPA up and really study for the HESI when it comes time to applying.

Hi, I was just wondering how long after you took the hesi exam did they contact you?
Good luck with your schooling!
