Anyone know anything about this place?

Hi everyone!!! For those of you who just got accepted for Fall I have a question. First congrats!! :) I too just got accepted and was wondering what are we supposed to do now? I got a letter that said we will be contacted by our advisor for the next following steps but I'm still waiting...I guess I'm just so excited I want to finalize everything and get everything I need to get done out of the way. There was also in the letter, it said to go online to a website for the next steps but that website did not have anything and I'm just curious what did you do? Thank you. You can also send me a private message if you'd prefer. Thank you!! And for those of you waiting to hear back whether you are in or not be patient it took a long time for me to hear back but stay positive and patient:) Good luck everybody!

Did you have your interview yet with your advisor and student advisor? They go over your financial aid stuff if you applied for it. Also, you have to pay to have your background and drug test done.

I did my drug test and background test and a week or two later they sent me a letter saying I was accepted and it had a Chamberlain lanyard in it also. Now I guess we just have to wait to register for our classes. I just emailed my advisor and he said that they will start calling people mid to late sept. to register. I got accepted into the Addison campus and I know orientation is on Oct. 13th and it's mandatory.

Who else is starting this fall at Addison???

I applied for the fall, still waiting for a call from the advisor. I have a 3.2 gpa but did pretty bad on the hesi. I got an 82.8%. Im soo nervous. =(

Jadx2011....no I didn't have any interview with any advisor yet. I had just received a call and they told me I was accepted and would hear about the next steps and would receive a phone call as to what I need to do next but it has been weeks and still no phone call. I haven't even been able to go over anything with financial aid. And don't know where I should go get my background and drug tests done. I'd like to get everything done and taken care of. I don't like to do things last minute and feel like I keep calling but it's only because I don't like procrastinating and leaving things til the last second and I really am just so excited to get everything done. I have called and left my advisor messages but have gotten no response yet. Do you know...where do we get the paperwork or go to to get all these tests done? and are those the only 2 things we need to get done? also how do we find out about financial aid and will they contact me? Also how do we know what classes have transferred and what not? Well at least I now know from you that there's a mandatory oriendation on Oct 13th:) Thank you now I can plan better and at least not schedule myself to work that day. Do you happen to know what time it is at? Thank you so much

Hi Sakura123, I am in the same boat as you. I just recently got accepted and I got a call saying to wait for another call for the next step. It has been a week since I got my acceptance call and i just got my acceptance letter today. Like you I also want to get everything done because I have have till Sept.16, 2011 to complete my the checklist, is your deadline the same as mine? I am getting worried because I only have less than 2 weeks left, I don't know if I should call or not about it. Also the new student orientation is on Oct. 13 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Hi Peanutbutter0826...thank goodness I'm not the only one. I was really starting to worry. No my deadline is Sept 15th! So that really leaves me little time. It is rather frustrating I wish my advisor could at least call me back and it would help if she would just let me know something-anything. Or at least respond back to my calls and emails. How did you find out about the date and time for the student orientation? also do we need to bring anything that day?? Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help and I'm so grateful for this forum.

For the orientation, I just went to the Chamberlain website and click on the "Upcoming Events". I don't know if we need to bring anything for it. Did you do your financial aid yet? I know they were going to talk to us about financial aid when we come in for our appointment but I went ahead and called the Student Service to ask what I have to do and they said to go to fafsa and add their school code, so I had to do that today. I will probably try calling my adviser tomorrow and let her know that my deadline is coming soon, I'm just hoping she answers back.

How long did it take you guys to get a call from your advisors? I am bit anxious! I REALLY hope i get in!!! fingers crossed!!

Ruthie89 - What semester are you applying for? I am applying for spring 2012. My advisor told me that I probably wouldn't hear anything until october.. But, I just got my e mail with all of my classes that will transfer from my college I am in right now. When I had met with my advisor after my hesi he told me that when I got that e mail it ment my application was on its way to be looked at sooooo I am hoping I hear soon... I got a 86.8% on my hesi... everything had a good high score except for vocab... Ugh! I have a 3.2 GPA how did you do?

I am applying for Fall 2011. I applied before the deadline but I took my hesi a week n half ago. My gpa is a 3.0 but i didnt so well on the Hesi. I got an 82%. I think you will get in for sure! Your gpa and Hesi look great!
