Hey hk25a, I am pretty sure the $100 deposit is really important for securing your seat. It doesn't show up as outstanding fees on the finances section of the SSC, but it will request the deposit when you accept your offer under "Admissions" on the SSC. I'm not sure if you have already accepted your offer on the SSC, but you should see it when you accept your offer. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let those of you on the wait list know that I know someone who initially was #9 on the list and they just got an acceptance letter today! So hang in there, its moving faster and faster :)

I just stumbled onto this forum today, and I love how people on the waiting list are updating their status on here.

I'm number 10 on the waiting list, so apparently I should be next...! Will return the favour and update you (elle and iris) if/when I hear any news

Hi, thanks so much, sidney! :) It's such a scary AND exciting time right now lol.....I've been waiting for the 15th for so long.....regardless what the results are, I'm just happy to find out once and for all :)......And regardless of whatever happens, I'd like to thank everyone for all their awesome support here!! The support here was so incredible during this stressful time :heartbeat.....I'll never forget it :).

I contacted UBC regarding the information package we are supposed to receive, and was told that we will be getting it via email rather than by regular mail.

I've been reading this thread ever since it began but haven't made the move to join until today. Just wanted to update and say that I have received the e-mail containing all of our "welcome" information. Lots of fees to pay!

Immunization review/TB skin test - if you're booking at SHS, call soon. I just did and they're booking into July already.

I haven't heard anything... believe me, I'll let you know when I know!

I was thinking of emailing or calling sometime next week if there still isn't any movement. I know the deadline for accepting admission/receiving transcripts was yesterday but I imagine it takes them a while to actually process it all...
