I'll be applying to University of Ottawa and University of Toronto.
Graduated with a Social Science degree from Ottawa U w/ 7.2 CGPA (aka 3.33 on 4.0 scale, or a B+)

I was wondering if anyone knew if the original person who posted was accepted into the Ottawa U program?

I have a BS in Biology with a 3.85 GPA and a Masters in Science Education with a 4.0 GPA. I am looking to change careers and the Second-Entry Program at Ottawa U has caught my attention.

Does anyone have experience entering the program already having two degrees?

I was on the waitlist for UofT, I'm pretty sure Group 1 but just got a rejection via email. Good luck to all on the waitlist!

Hey everyone. I'm currently in my first year of the RPN program at Algonquin College and was exploring my options of getting in to the RN program without having to do the bridging as it will take me 5+ years! I have done 2 years of BSc at uOttawa (did not complete it as I switched to the RPN program). I seem to have all of the prerequisites except the Stats and Research methods. What courses have you taken to complete those two requirements? I know they have a list of courses on the uOttawa website, but most of them seems to be reserved for students of a specific major. I hope someone is able to help me. I haven't spoken to anyone at the school yet, but I'm hoping to get a head start from here.

Hey. No I didn't get in. I was waitlisted. I'm pretty sure it had a lot to do with the fact that I did not have the pre-reqs done in time.

UOttawa is really competitive, because they only let so few people in per year. However, your stats look great, you shouldn't have trouble getting into a program.

I did my stats requirement online with Thompson Rivers University, and you can take research methods at UOttawa, you just have to register directly with the SCS faculty as a special student.

If you look at the UOttawa website for the 2nd entry program, it has a list of accepted courses. You can also call the faculty of nursing if your unsure of whether a course fulfills the requirements.
