Accelerated 2016 and/or Athabasca BIOL235 2015-2016
Hi no-scrubs! Good luck with the course.. I did well but I had to work hard, no way I could have done it in addition to being a full-time student! Bottom line is, it's not the kind of course you can slack in (or google answers for quizzes), but if you study it will pay off. I didn't even stick to their study schedule because of procrastination + having to complete the course sooner than their schedule allowed, so cramming to finally do well in the end is definitely possible... lol... though not recommended

Accelerated 2016 and/or Athabasca BIOL235 2015-2016
Hi, my tips are to study a lot... this course requires putting in a lot of time. Do as many multiple choice practice questions as you can, finding from other physiology sources online, etc. Screenshot the ones from quizzes to go over again before midterms or final.

Thanks! @QueensAST how do we get and submit a police record check? I've done it before but employers gave me the paperwork to fill out and they submitted it..

Hi! I'll be joining ya... It's super early to ask this, but I was wondering about placements. Do we have the chance to do placements in hospitals outside of Kingston in our final year? I'm interested in pediatrics so I really hope so. What is the paediatric scene like at KGH, is there 1 floor? Congrats on UofT! And lots of luck with your exam! I still have to write that one. Please let me know if it was more difficult or easier than you expected or how it compared to the other exams.

No idea, but that's my alma mater and I just wanted to say I hope you get in because it's a fantastic (hard working) time so worth it.

They haven't asked me for a deposit either. As it appears on SOLUS, I think we only pay when we register for classes..

Good luck to all still waiting to hear (and to those getting excited to start in September or August!) I'm excited to start at QUEEN'S (AST) , um, so long as I can pass BIOL 235 via Athabasca... haha. Never worried about passing anything before and while I'm not freaking out, I'm more nervous than usual. That course is no joke because the textbook is awful (in my humble opinion) and there are no lecture recordings, slides or cadavers... Anyone in the course has my empathy.

Actually, I don't think you see it... You put in the individual's email address and it gets sent to them. I actually may not follow through with my app to UofT..... in which case I will forward the form to myself to see what they ask and then I can tell you.

Accelerated 2016 and/or Athabasca BIOL235 2015-2016
Hi rachelps and cam22! I'm having a harder time with BIOL 235 than I thought I would, especially given my background.. Would love to be able to have "study buddies" (er, online) to be accountable to, ask Qs/discuss with... I finished reading Chapter 18 (endocrine) but I still have to complete Assignment 1 and do everything for Assignment 2 (I work in weird ways like that... ..)
