  1. From what to what?
  2. Hi my UofT schoolmate :) What program are you in right now? Is nursing something that you really want to do? It is okay it is just 2 years, if you really want to enroll into a nursing program perhaps you could consider transfer? Also, UofT 2nd entry nursing is super competitive and perhaps you should look into other schools too, some schools only require you to finish 2 years of universities with pre-req they wanted. Perhaps, take the pre-reqs while you're at UofT and graduate and leave the 2nd entry nursing option opened? Or change a major to something closer to nursing?
  3. Hi Everyone! This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out! I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!! I have a few universities in mind to apply - University of Toronto York Nipissing Western Queen's McMaster Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed! Feel Free to give me suggestions or ask questions! Here is a link I found online listing most of the second entry nursing programs. Best wishes to everyone! Good Luck! -Bon :)
  4. Hi everyone, I got rejected by all of the 2nd entry nursing programs that I applied to - UofT York Trent and Humber. Mostly because of my not-so-competitive GPA (3.04 out of 4), and I was lacking pre-req for York and Trent. Now I don't know what to do, I did my B.A. (2014) in Health Studies at the University of Toronto, spent half a year doing the courses and job search, and unemployed. I still have a passion in nursing however don't know if I should try again. What if i spend all the money and do the courses and apply again, then they don't accept me? Then I will be doomed for life Opinions? drop it? keep going? or there are more professional certifications that i am not aware of?
  5. it's just I am lacking of the micrbology course
  6. I got rejected by UofT York Trent and Humber. Basically all those that I applied. For two reasons - my GPA is not high enough, my last two year gpa is 3.04 out of 4. I do lack some pre-reqs but not for UofT. Sigh.. should I try again next year or give up? Should i really dump my money and do all pre-reqs, knowing that my undergrad GPA wouldn't increase by much?.. so depressing. I don't know what to do now with my Health Studies BA.
