Nursing program without accreditation Canada

Hello,

I am cuurently taking my BSN program in Manitoba, Canada, where according to CASN, non of the programs meet accreditation criterias. I am trying to find out if in future, once I would like to move and to registrate in another province I will face any obstacles. I wrote to CASN, their answer is "you might face some problems", I wrote to colleges of many provinces, still did not get any responce..... What do you think? Do you know RN's who graduated from non accreditised program and moved later to another province? Thank you!

I feel like as long as you've been able to pass the nclex and have been able to practice, you should be ok? I don't know how heavily weighted where you completed your BSN would be after several years of workering. Definitely worth applying.

In Canada, the only route to RN is by doing a degree, either BSN or BScN.

Is the school program approved by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba? If so, then that is more important than than if the school is accredited with CASN. Once you have met the criteria to become registered in one province and have worked as a RN in that province, you should not have difficulty becoming licensed in another province, because the Labour Mobility Act ensures that regulated professionals are able to move anywhere in Canada without more training.
